We are NOT a kennel, nor do we kennel our dogs (with the exception of early potty training). Our
sheepies are part of the family and live in the home with us. Our puppies are kept inside and learn many socialization skills
and are handled every day, from day one. We have one litter a year. Our dogs Samson, Skyler and their puppies, were seen on
Animial Planet's "That's My Baby". We breed because we love the Old English Sheepdogs. Our children
(ages 13, 12 and 8) make certain that the puppies are very "kid friendly". We offer a 2 year health guarantee, and
every puppy is fully examined (including a fecal float) and current on all immunizations and wormings with tails docked and
dew claws removed. We have numerous parents that are more than happy to tell you how healthy and sweet our puppies and adult
dogs are to all who come to visit. We feel that health, disposition and beauty (conformation) are three key points in breeding
sheepies. My husband is a certified trainer, and we are careful to teach our puppies good manners before they leave our home.
They are also usually paper trained. They have their own room to romp and play in and we protect them from going outdoors
(except for picture days) until after they have their first set of shots, and limit their time outdoors to less than
an hour a day after that. All our sheepies are raised to be inside dogs, and we would never want one to be kept outside
full time. We are focusing on getting our adults certified for therapy so that we can let them comfort others as much
as they have comforted us. We are preparing to show our new addition Fall 2009.
Puppies are $1000 each, when available.
Samson babies our Cavalier Tinkerbell...two little snugglebugs.
